New Cozy from Miranda James

Twelve Angry Librarians by Miranda James is the newest Cat in the Stacks Mystery featuring Charlie Harris and his Maine coon, Diesel. Charlie finds himself as the acting director of the Athena College Library and he's under the added pressure of hosting an academic library convention. Charlie's worries aren't limited to the convention, however. His son-in-law has received a job offer in Virginia and is poised to take Charlie's daughter and their unborn child. Poor Diesel is feeling all the stress surrounding Charlie and is trying his best to help.
Charlie learns that the keynote speaker at the conference is Gavin Fong--Charlie's library school rival--he's less than thrilled at having to socialize with the man even though it's been thirty years. It becomes quite clear that Gavin hasn't changed after all these years, so when he turns up dead, there is no shortage of suspects. When a heated argument with Gavin moves Charlie to the top of the list, he and Diesel must work extra hard to solve the case or he may have to move his office to the county jail.
